I love this time of year. The days are getting warmer and longer and everyone just seems to be a little happier!

Over the last few months I have most definitely been in hibernation, living alone for the first time combined with the Canberra cold has kept me safely indoors. While it was so nice to enjoy my own space and rest up while work was exhausting me, I can't wait to make the most of the nicer days.

Here are some things on my Spring to-do list...

  • Start work earlier so I can leave earlier
  • Go for more walks
  • Do the majority of my shopping at the farmers markets
  • Wear bright nail colours
  • Go on a picnic (or several)
  • Buy myself fresh flowers
  • Do a Body Balance/yoga class at least once a week
  • Turn my balcony into a lovely outdoor space

Some health goals in there, some social things, and some other things I just want to work on.

If you are a Canberra local (or even if you're not!) I would love to hear what things you have planned for Spring/Summer so I can steal them to put on my to-do list! If you happen to be in the Northern Hemisphere I'd love to know what the highlight of your Summer was.

This is so similar to my list for this season! Though we're actually going into Autumn here in San Francisco. I'm very excited in particular to get back into regular pilates and buying myself flowers. (p.s. this is Maddy from Popbasic ;)).

I do love the first sight of spring blossoms. If you want tips on stuff to do in Canberra head on over to Vanisha's life in Australia, she is fantastic and is always up to something.

I'd love to start waking up a bit earlier and enjoying the early morning light!

Love your to do list! I think I'm going to copy it! ;) xx

  5. Great list! I'm going to steal some of your ideas ;)

As for me, I plan to do things like get back into rollerblading, write more letters, take more photos, run outside instead of always in the gym, go for long bike rides, and play badminton in our backyard.

  6. I love your list. It's so motivating. I'm going to wear less nail polish and go back to the whole natural look. We should organize a little blogger picnic!

I want to do more walks, too! It's such a lovely way to live a healthier life :) I need to get back to yoga soon. I took a long break and now my body is feeling it - yikes!

  8. I love that the weather has got warmer and that it isn't dark when I get home from work it certainly makes me more motivated to do things in the evening.
